Hi everyone. I have been posting on this board for a month or so now in an attempt to get my bike up and running again.
Well, in an attempt to try for an easy fix for some possible low compression issue and shifting issues my bike is having (Ref. 2 other threads I have posted here).. this past weekend I did the following:
1. Changed my battery to a New one
2. Installed new SPark Plugs
3. Changed the oil and oil filter

However, when I went to start the bike the following happened (or should I say didn't.. LOL)
Upon insertingthe key and turning it to the ON position, all the lights came on as did the digital display. I could hear the fuel pump working also for just a moment... Then I pressed the Ignition..... and Nothing. No Click No Sounds.. Nothing. So I checked the fuses to the starter and the fuse was fine.

Now, I think that maybe the Starter is the issue. Although I havent had any trouble with it in the past. I did consider the fuel pump but I heard it when I turned the key to the ON position...

Any ideas?

 

check the fuel level, fuses is it in gear with the kick stand down. or maybe the safety switch of some kind is getting stuck?
