I have a 01 cbr600f4i, I didn't ride it for about 7-8 months and when I went to ride it It started acting up, sputtering, rough idle, won't idle, running rich, & the FI light keeps blinking on and off.
I took the tank off drained the gas, changed the plugs.....still nothing.

I'm not really inclined to pay $70hr at the honda place to get it looked at, Is there any Help you guys can give me, maybe this has happened to one of you.

don't forget to change out the fuel filter. if it was gas related then whatever particles made the bike cough is still in the filter.

 

is the filter in the tank?
