Hi, New here and need a bit of help with my bike. My 01 929 developed a serious electrical issue after installing a pc111usb. I put in the power commander and also fixed up the tail wiring on the blinkers. It started fine and drove down the driveway but as soon as I hit the tar and opened it up the bike reved to 12k and died. The whole thing completely shutt off and left me in the dark. After inspecting it it I found the main 30amp fuse on the switch assmbly or starter relay will blow as soon as I try and plug in the harness on top of it. I would asume there is a grounded wire in the harness and have stripped the whole bike down with no major visual issues. My question is..is this a common or known issue? Will a bad switch assmbly-starter relay cause an issue like this? It will blow the fuse even with the key off? I do have a new battery to try as mine is dead but didnt know if that would make and differnce. Also I did pull the pc111 with no differnce. Any info or tips would be great and thanks in advance!
