Just throwing the idea out there....

On another Forum i belong too (b20vtec.com) They added a "Shoutbox" to the
forum section of the site for members only....It alows members to chat as if they
were in a aol style chatroom...
It seems to be working really well, Providing instant help/guidance/opinins and just
getting to know other members...
Since you need to be a member to view this i have a screen shot of me logged in to
get an idea of what im saying...

Not a bad idea....let me pass it around the block and get opinions from the other mods......

 

I also think a chat is a great idea, I know i'd put it to good use.

 

i think if some people are worried about people spamming the chat

maybe there could b a minimum of posts and/or time as a member before able to use the chat

 

I dont know if once we had it if it would be used after a week. It takes up a lot of space too.

 

Only one way to find out if people would use it or not and that is to create one. It probably takes alot of work and effort to create a chat room but i'm sure many users would enjoy there being one.

I'm a little late, but while talking to another member...sending PM's back-n-forth gets annoying! lol, so I'm with the whole chatroom, maybe even Instant Messaging? Maybe sum up a few things, like adding "600/600 Mods...same for the 1000's" and so on, like joining the two "topics/Forum descriptions" instead of having them seperate, at least it'd clear up some room. Oh, and as far as "contributing", like, how much should I send? I'd like to help out as much as possible, but I'm not Donald Trump, so give me a light estimate, lol.
