Default How to delete a thread

Just wondering....is there a way of deleting a thread that I started or is this feature only available for forum admins?
I noticed that I can change the contents of my thread but not the actual thread heading or the thread entirely.
Regards,
William

If you click to edit your comment, are you not given the option to delete? If you're the only person who commented and the thread starter, it might delete the thread.

Hi, no I'm not given the option to delete. The only thing I can do is delete the entire wording of the post, but I cannot delete the thread heading itself. Cheers

Default deleting threads

This made sound bizarre, but may I request that you delete all my previous posts from 2017 to now?
The reason I ask this is because 90% of those posts had some links to a website and a youtube channel that I used to have that featured my bike, but I no longer have them (the site I closed and the YouTube channel I no longer have access to it as I misplaced my password and they are giving me a hard time to re-log into my channel. That means that most of the links I have on the posts will be broken links now and that’s a nuisance to everyone that reads those posts.
So yes, if you can delete all my previous posts from 2017 to present, except the very last one that I posted about the electrical diagram yesterday that would be ideal, only of it’s not too much hassle / time for you.
Thanks again.

There are thousands of dead links on posts long ago. What's another few? If you want to go back and edit them out, fine. We don't usually like to just remove all posts as it takes the conversations out of context. But do let a moderator or administrator know if there is a thread you need deleted. They have all the necessary tools to do so.
