I was just wondering how the pics are selected to appear on the front page. I seems random as they are new ones every time I head back to the main page, but I also feel like I see the same ones frequently. Just hoping that I will see mine up there eventually! (rather, have other people see mine up there eventually)

Right! I see new ones on occasion, but I could name off a few that I see frequently (Repsolroger being the first that comes to mind)

 

I made an album about a year ago and have yet to see mine there.

 

Maybe you never get to see your own? Because you already know what's in that album.

But yes, Repsol Roger and p8tballking(?) do seem to get a lot of mileage.

Perhaps it's based on how many people have viewed the albums? I'm sure a moderator will be along here soon to answer all these questions.

 

Wow, 5 hours later and already some albums I've never seen before are starting to appear. The magic of the internet.

Yeah, I've noticed new ones lately too. I like that this forum has the feature, except for when I get caught just flipping through albums for no reason, for periods of time! But it really is cool to have new albums pop up and catch my eye.

Mods/ admins, is Kiwi right, will I never see my own up there as long as I am logged in as me?

 

It is a random function however I've noticed it displays albums that have the most activity. Whether you can see your own is beyond my grasp of how the function works. Heck, most of the time I believe the place is possessed ...
