Hey man,

I was deciding between these two shields myself for the last little bit. I decided to go with the sport touring one. I ordered it last week and hope to get it this week. I am 6'4 so height was very important to me. I'll let youknow what you think when I get it.

If you want the most wind protection get the Sport Touring. This is what I plan on getting because I'm 6'2 and I do a lot of highway riding.

I'm 5'11 and do a LOT of highway riding...about 100 miles a day...I'm afraid that instead of the windblast hitting me in the chest that it will hammer my head instead with the ST screen....comments from similar sized riders on the DB or ST and where the blast now hits?

I started with the Db and then went to the sport-touring version...but went BACK to the DB.

I'm 6'3" and found that the St created a vacuum pocket so that ifI wasn't exactly, precisely andperfectly in the small area of no buffeting then I got jostled pretty good by buffeting winds.

No such "small sweet spot" with the DB.

I'm 5'11" as well and do about 60 miles of highway riding roundtrip to and from work. I don't know if it's just me or what but I often ride untucked and I'll tuck down when I meet a semi to completly avoid the windblast. I just got the ZG DB and am very satisfied with it, to get out of the wind all together I don't have to tuck nearly as low as I did with the stock screen. If you get down low enough to look right OVER the top of the screen it deflects most if not all of the windblast up over your head.

I dunno if this will help or not but here are two side profile shots of the stocker and then with the DB. You can see the difference in the profile of each screen.

Thanks for the pics bro..that helps a lot to see the diff....how is riding untucked though? Right now unless there is a bitch of a headwind the windblast hits me in the chest and shoulders...with the DB is it moved up to your head?

Also is the the Dark smoke screen? If so can you see through it?

Thanks!

Untucked it's probably about the same, but more of the blast comes up to the face shield. Yea it's dark smoke. You can see through it but if you have a smoked face shield it's a bitch to see through and you can't see through it at night worth a **** either. Peering right over the top of it works for me, plus I can't get my head low enough with a helmet on to really look through it comfortablly anyway.
