Yea , i was wondering about these. Sooooo, it attaches to the tank ? And how does that keep you from sliding on the seat into the tank ? I was looking at the stomp grips or the triboseat :

I was wondering which is better ? Seams like if i have ta stick something to my tank that i would not be re usable like the triboseat.
I dunno.
You grip them with your legs. The seat thing would prevent you from sliding left and right on the seat; not good for a sportbike, especially on a track.

I have black stomp grips and it makes the 600 look pretty cool. I have clear on the 954 and the tank graphics show through.

Maybe you should create the first "nut airbag" for bikes! HAHA!

Default Surf Board Traction

I ordered some of this today.

I grew up surfing and this goes on the board kind of like those flowers your mom uses in the bath tub. It is $10 bucks with shipping for a 1'x10.5" strip. A couple of folks get together and order and it would even cheaper. I'll let you know how it works out. Me and my dad are going to test it on our bikes.

I've bought a set of stompgrips and won't turn back!! won't get on another bike without them! Makes braking and cornering alot easier. more pressure on tank means less pressure on grips giving me way more ability to controll my bike

For you guys that use stomp grips did it change your actual riding position any? One guy previously made a comment that now he could sit back away from the tank a bit if he had some stomps. But I dont think I would do that with the stomps anyways, it just feels soo much more locked on to the bike up on the tank. Naturally down straights when I get low I might move my butt back a bit.

Didn't really change my posture, but made me feel more "locked" onto the bike ('specially when hanging off of it).

For you guys that are trying non-Stomp, make sure that you don't get anything abrasive (will tear up your leathers) and make sure the adhesive won't slip when it heats up. I've tried other brands of tank grippers that advertised that they were removable; down here in the Texas summer heat, they started slipping when I needed them. That's why I "stick with stomp."

I just put on a set of tank tredz. Haven't had a chance to go for a ride yet but they seem to be pretty sweet.
