Default wtf am I that dumb? spark plugs

I'm putting new plugs in the bike and it's giving me a hard time. First off the airbox has a sensor on the left side and I didn't know what to do about that so I just unscrewed it (which was a bitch, and the little hose was stretched more than I would have liked. I'm sure there's a better way to do this).

but now I have everything out of the way. Look at my attachment (the pair valve mod, but I'm just using it as reference). The 4 black caps on top of the head that are plugged into the white harnesses are on the spark plugs, yes? HOW DO I GET THOSE DAMN THINGS OFF?!

Turn and pull up on them. You have to unplug the wire from each one. Then just twist and pull up. They might be stuck so turning them should help loosen it up. Hope that helps.

Okay, I'm sure these are the original plugs so they are probably stuck well. I just wanted to check before I started yanking on things and breaking it....

Thanks guys!

Hehe... Sometimes they're stuck on there pretty good. Just keep pulling!

Be glad it's FI and not carbs. Pulling the carbs for the first time since being manufactured usually requires C-4

yep those are the coils.. On a car i have torn the boot by not turning it first so give them a good twist and you might have to use long needle noise plyers or spark plug boot puller..
