How the hell could he see you at night when your headlight is pointing up in the sky at a 45 degree (or more) angle?
Squid.
he said that he didnt even see me
Squid.
haha, no 2 inch accell wheelies here. I stand on the back peg and pull it almost straight up and down.
No noobie to the world of stunting here.
I said that he didnt even see me because that was what he said, not that I was shocked that he didnt see me. Try not to make it sound differently than what I said and I apologized because I knew if I had the front end down then the guy would have seen my headlights the first time he looked.
As for gettin called a Squid, thats kinda below the belt buddy, you dont know me.
I'll try to get a video posted of one of my wheelies on the net. Just to let you guys see how its done

i curious for video i wanna see "almost straight up and down" at speeds ABOVE 60. i'm not been a smart *** but sounds more like a power wheelie, which there is nothing wrong with.
You state that you had your gear on and probaly would't of gotten hurt. Just wondering what kind of gear? A superman outfit? At that speed 60+
My buddie rear ended a car on the higway when all cars slamed on their brakes he was doing about 40 when he hit..He was in the hospital for weeks isn't able to still ride now for over a year due to he walks with a cane and has a pee bag.....Just don't think cause you have gear on you wont get hurt...
But anyway glade to see all turned out well for you this time

Let's see... You do wheelies on the public streets...
You're a squid. Open and shut case.

At night.
Im sorry but i assumed a squid was a newbie?????? Thats what I got out of the word. Where else are you going to do wheelies at. I can do them on the highway but then I would be really far from the hospital if I needed help, and my wheelies are to long and fast to do them in a parking lot. Let alone if I could even find one that was big enough to do them in but I dont really feel like draining 15lbs of pressure out of my back tire to just do slow wheelies. That takes all of the thrill out of it.
Its like jumping out of an airplane at 15 feet. Its pointless. No offense to the people that like the slow stuff, thats some major skill but its just not for me. I like my speed
Im just comfortable enough to be doing wheelies at night in town, and I leave a very long comfort zone when I do them in town. When I barely hit the Mustang I was on the front wheel and it was a bit of a ways after I had already put the bike back down. Also I COULD see, there were lights everywhere. Not headlights, Streetlights.
As for having the gear on. I was in an ENDO, All my weight was already over the bike and I was at the driver side headlight when I hit, My weight would have naturally thrown me over the engine bay and landed on pavement. Ive hit the ground before with no gear on, I know what it feels like and if I would have gotten thrown over the car I would have (most likely) been fine. Maybe sore with at MOST a broken finger or twisted ankle.
I figured I might get a little grief out of this because it was in town and at night but jeez you guys act like your my mother or something. Infact my mother didnt even give me that much grief when she found out about it. She was just happy that I was ok and told me I was a stupid **** for doin it.
Man, you try to give everyone a good story and they just criticize you for everything.
Most of the motorcycle crashes are either because the motorcyclist did something stupid or a cager didnt see them or both in this case.
