Sitting at 44k right now and I doubt the valves have been inspected let alone adjusted. That's next on my list, but not looking forward to it. I don't have the money to have someone do it for me, so I'll be doing it myself. Probably in a couple weeks. It's not hard to start, but I can swear I hear some tapping going on, not sure if it's normal or not. I know my 500 sounded like a sewing machine and my valves were within spec on it.

 

Its great to see all of these fellow owners with great mileage and I'm just beginning to hit the part of the season where I put massive miles on.

Right now its 50mi per day so around 350/wk!

 

Just did the valve inspection at liltle over 17K miles. All of the intake valves were under specs, and all of the exhaust valves were out of specs. I had them replace the CCT at the same time (already had it, just never got around to it)

 

i just hit 12k today, im pissed i forgot to take a pic of it. i turned my bike on before to ride home and was at 12,005. Looks like ive got some catching up to do compared to the rest of you.
