Woooo! 16k Miles
A great milestone passed with a great bike - 16,000 miles! Although she is my commuter "beater" bike now, she runs strong for her age and still looks and sounds great! To this day I still choose to drive her over the Italian mistress time and time again. Hope all of you other F4i owners are as satisfied as I am:icon_playing:

wow I got a quote for my valve adjustment $300 - $400

Wait you have a Duc, and CTS-V and F4i??? Damn you!!!!!!!!
I opted not to get the valve adjustment done at 16K because from what I read there are very few if any F4i's that actually needed an adjustment at 16K. I'm not telling you not to do it, just stating what I had read. |

Whaaaatttt??? GTFO everybody knows sportbike engines turn into pumpkins as soon as you hit 10k =0
Like others have said.... I don't want to tell you NOT to do it, but Hondas hold their valve clearances extremely well, so more than likely you're valves will be perfectly in spec. It's up to you though. And a valve adjustment shouldn't run you more than $3-400, "maybe" a little more if they do need adjusting cuz you'll then need shims. $1000+ is simply insane. It is time for plugs though! Mine is just getting broken in....not even 15k yet! Attachment 46691 Oh wait..... =-/. But yes, I've been very.... VERY satisfied with my bike!! She's certainly been good to me, that's for sure! |
Hahahah is that what happened when it rolls over each 100k Jared? it just goes back to zero?
