as for the clear alternative....i agree, that is why i am going to tint it before i put it on....

you can get a stock red one from ebay if you already threw yours away...the red on red looks hot.

well i am going to be changing the scheme from red on black to black on red so the tail will eventually end up black....i don't know if i want to have a red tailight or a blacked out tailight....i guess i could still blackout a red tailight later if i want....

also, i want to have my turn signals integrated into the taillight...i know i COULD do it with the stock light....but i don't know if i want to take the time...LOL

yea buying the already integrated one would be easier...but what pride would you have in that?

plus theres a cool little writeup in the how to section

nice undertail red! I have the same ones... My plates are on the left side where the chain is located at.. i wanted to change it back where the tail is at but im not sure how to set up the lights for the plates. im not a electrical guy. can you help with wiring and setting that up?

ryan_a - I bought these LED license plate bolts off of ebay, then routed them in and tied them to the WHITE plug in the tail section for the old plate light. Works like a charm. You dont need a nifty one bolt plate mount either, i just felt like making one.
