I'm thinking about the same undertail at some point this winter. My problem is that the squid that had my bike before me did some aluminum fender eliminator, and in doing so, the tail light is jammed up into the tail fairing about half way. I haven't looked at mine too hard, but I have no idea how the light is supposed to mount, sooo... does this undertail come with a mount for the light, or does it bolt to something else?

yes you cut off the stock plastic light mount. it comes with a metal mount for the light to bolt up to, then you bolt that up to the two bolts that hold the black plastic in place.

haha voodoo...yea this bike is much sexier than the last one...i just want to get out n ride!!!!! but the 10 inches of snow in the past 2 days says otherwise...i move it forward and backwards about 8 feet in my garage several times a day

Best undertail I've seen yet. I'm really glad functionality was a priority... too many people go with the hideous, nearly-invisible white-lens or LED brake lights. Yours looks way better and people will actually see you braking.

Great job with the fabrication, looks great. Caught mine in the mail (no fabrication skills) this week. Waiting for it to warm up a bit before I install, don't want to risk cracking any plastic.

yeah, i got the hotbodies as one of my FIRST mods..i was young and inexperienced in the way of mods....

although the hotbodies is nice...i prefer the shape of the stock taillight...perhaps a clear alternative which i am sure would fit....i have held off only because i know i am going to paint the bike at some point so i am in no rush to change it out, but i REALLY like how yours turned out....i just need to swap before the eventually paint job...

well...ffingers...you may be in luck if you dont want to paint. I got the paint today (actual r258) and painted the undertail...looks amazing..glossy as hell

If youd like, i can paint it for you, i have enough paint left for like 10 undertails.

ps - IMO the clear alternatives tail screams HEY IM A RICER to me....cause im used to seeing the damned alteza lights on those poor little civics...poor little ricer boys...them brains be scrambled..lol
