I'm planning on replacing the LEDs inside my cluster gauge, but was wondering if the odometer will reset to zero when the power is disconnected. Will it happen?

I've been researching it quite a bit, and I can't justify doing it myself. I'm half decent with soldering, but I can justify the cost of sending it off.

You should be good with a soldering gun, or familiar with desoldering circuitry before even considering doing the mod yourself. All the LEDs are underneath the LCDs, and there's a good 40 pins holding on the speedo.
