I was wondering if anybody tried to fit a 929 motor in a 2001 600f4i frame???

 

if your gonna spend the money to have a motor swap you might as well just buy a new bike, it would be nice to see an F4i with a diff. motor but then again it wouldnt be an F4i after that. sooo i dont know

 

I like trying different things dare to be different in my opinon

 

I know you can put a cbr 900rr motor in a cbr f2 frame. so it could be possible to put a 929rr in a f4 or f4i. i just might be $$$$$$

unless you know a shope that woll hook tyou up or you can try it your self. good luck.

 

In my opinion, it probably will fit in that space, but you might have to fabricate some motor mounts. All of these bikes are so close in body size, its pretty nuts. Untill I got into the scene (bout 9 months now) I thought the litre bikes were bigger than 600's and so on. LOL... got up to the shop and sat down on an r1 thinking it was an r6 lol... i got laughed at by so many people "gad dam n00b!" hahahahah oh well... but yeah... the moral of the story is, these bikes are damn close :P


good luck, id like to see it done too... it might not be too shabby as long as your motor mounts match up... if they dont, it'll take a bit of time and possibly money if you cant fabricate yourself,
