Will 06 pass. pegs fit an 01?

I can't call the dealer since they are closed on Mon, and I can't find anything online to tell me if the passenger footpegs from an 06 will fit an 01....anybody know?

they wont, cuz when a 06 guy does a swap to the 01-03 tail the 06 pegs wont work
