RE: who else wants that perfect suspension?!
My dilemma is that I ride 50/50 solo / with pillion. My weight in street clothing is 165 lbs. How is it best to adjust for a more balanced setup? Should I adjust everything (mainly sag) for solo and then increase a click or two the preload for two-up? Preferably I would want to find a happy medium for the two situations since I only do street riding

RE: who else wants that perfect suspension?!
I have an Ohlins Rear with hydraulic preload adjuster. When going 2-up I give it a few turns and bounce on it. This is done totally by feel. Truthfully, I should reduce rebound damping a couple clicks as well, but I don't bother with it usually.
The goal here is to simply restore the rear ride height (as much as possible) without crunching the spring completely.
If the chick's too heavy, I just get a new chick. (LOLOLOLOL)

Maybe get one of your boys that you trust & weighs similar to youto ride your bike over a few bumpson the road at normal speed while you watch on the side of the road. See if your forks look like they bottom out or get close to. If they do obviously it will be even worse if you go 2 up.Hope that helps a bit.
But this is a much different post than what I am talking about. When I say perfect suspension I am talking about getting every second outta your bike on the track but still being safe on the street. : )
