I was wondering how long you wait or what factors you consider to determine when you get rid of your first bike to get a new second bike.

 

Well, most will get a second bike when their first one has been wrecked! Or when the first one feels too small. My first ride was a ninja 500ex great learner ride but when I learned to handle, I knew I was ready for something bigger.

 

I'm going to get a Brand New CBR1000 when I graduate college... 4 years. When I get my first REAL job. (that is.. if im ready for the power)

 

I bought my second bike about 5 months after my first bike (first being the 06 F4i). Wasn't looking for another bike but I couldn't pass up the price and I loved the bright red color on my 06 1000RR (brighter red than the 600RR and VFR).

Still have my first bike though.

 

bought my first bike (02 F4i) in Feb 04
bought my 03 600RR in Nov 05
bought my 92 GS500 and 05 SV650 in Nov/Dec 06

kinda went backwards i guess lol

but whats this about selling anything? lol still got em all and can't make myself sell anything
I made the F4i a trackbike in 05 so I needed the RR for the street, then bought the SV650 to start racing but the F4i isn't worth selling anymore, the GS was just dirt cheap, didn't really have any other reason lol
