I have mine geared -1 in the front and +2 in the rear. In 2nd gear i use cruising throttle to get up to about 40 or 45 then push the clutch in a lil bit and give it a lil over half throttle and then drop the clutch pops it up real nice
yeah i got 2 up in the rear, stock front. I go about 35 and i think i rev it up to half or a tad bit over half and when i sayd half i mean like half between 1k and redline. but it just barely gets off the ground maybe about a foot.
Im talking about half throttle man dont really worry about your rpms jst pull the clutch in and hit the throttle and slip/drop the clutch. You dont need to bring it up to redline or anything i just clutch in 1/2 throttle back then dump clutch as soon as i hit the throttle. Just start off by 1/4 throttling then as you get used to it give it more gas before you dump the clutch. You want it coming up straight to the balance point without having to chase or loop the wheelie
The only thing about clutching is, the longer you hold that throttle back halfway, the more RPM's you are going to be raising. So dont pull in the clutch, hit the throttle and count to 3 or anything, by that time you will be WAY up in RPM's. Its just 40-45mph,pullin clutch.crank throttle back fast.release clutch fast. Try it slow and dont bust your ***. Just work up gradually or you are going to flip it over on you.
Also, 2nd gear wheelies go over 100mph so just think about that when you are planning on riding a wheelie, especially if you dont wear any gear.

well think about this. 1st gear wheelies are really easy to ride, but you can only go so far. I've been doing mostly 2nd gear wheelies, and they're different than 1st gear, much more gas is needed. So I did a few 2nd gear's, and then I pulled a 1st gear and scared the **** out of myself, because I pulled it like I would a 2nd gear. Came up quick. Be careful on one wheel man! I know it's fun. And keep it off the sidestreets and area's where kids are out!
First gears are eay to ride far as long as your not scared to bring it to the balance point. 2nd gears are not easier in my opinion wind gusts, wobbles in the rear tire, and tank slappers all come to mind. But definatly practice on a street where no cars are just incase you do go down
