Default What upgrade should I purchase first?

Both are for my 2002 f4i. Both will cost me about the same. I want to know which I should purchase first and why.

A) Galfer SS brake lines front&rear with new brake pads.

B) New sprocket set -1/+2. Supersprox 48t - Driven 15t.

Help me decide which direction to go. I already have a -1/0 setup. Would a 520 conversion be beneficial? I want to stick with a steel sprocket setup.

Thanks

Are either parts closer to replacement then the other?
A 520 is not super benificial unless your doing track days or are trying to gain any milliseconds on acceleration.

Both are in good shape as of now. If anything, I could use some new brakepads, but even those are still good. I know the saying goes "If its not broken, dont fix it" which is what has been holding me back a little, but I just want to get one of them done.

Thank you for the opinion, but why brakes first? In need of some convincing which way to go first.

I say SS Brake Lines first, with the SS lines you will have better brakes for the Sprocket Set....

Brakes because what good is going fast if you can't stop.

Brakes because:

1. like mentioned, its ugly if you can go fast but can't stop
2. They look cooler than sprockets

Do the brake lines first, you may find you don't need the sprocket upgrade. That 5-10 MPG you will lose will keep you on the road longer and unless you have some really great twisties in your area, you will rarely get to use the sprocket set to it's full potential. I would also put a radial master on the front if I were you, it takes the front brake feel to a whole new level!
