what sliders to buy
Just for Sh*ts and giggles would anyone care to post a pic of their bike with the "proper" length of a slider that will save the most of the bike. I have short little stubby one's (came with the bike when i bought it). Just curious what the best length is ...Thanks!

Just what do you mean by stubby? If they are not protruding thru a cut hole in the fairing or at the least, a pos no-cut sticking out the opening in the fairing. If its replacing a fairing bolt, take em off n throw em away. Those you can literally break off bumping em with your feet gettin on n off the bike.
Awesome...yes they protrude from holes in the fairings but yeah safe to say i need to buy some new ones! just ran downstairs and measured how far they came out....3/4" exactly LOL ill probably go with some Vortex or T-res ill look around...Thanks for the help!
3/4" - 1" is fine and will work fine. Vortex sells the "shorty" version, the puck is only 1 3/8" long. Quote from Vortex: "Shorty Black plastic puck offers the least leverage for better frame and engine protection; this is preferred by those on the track."
Mine are Woodcraft, same idea. 3/4" in back, 1" in front. I prefer Woodcraft over Vortex because they're solid.
