Someone put their front tire up against a wall and lift up the rear with a stand- then see how fast it goes.

If you think that's too dangerous- well so is doing 145+ mph on the highway, lol.

 

145 MPH on the interstate for me and I backed off. I'm only 162lbs and felt it had a bit more to go. I heard the 8% deal as well. I'm not sure where it kicks in but you're supposed to take 8% off your top speed and thats how fast you were really going.

 

on my completely stock f4i, I hit 254km/h(I live in canada) which is 157mph... I was in 6th at WOT for 2minutes trying to push it to 255, never made it.

 

my 05 cbr600f4i topped out at 168mph

 

mine is streetfightered out and topped out at 150, stock sprockets

When you're up that high weight matters less than profile and aerodynamics. You can eliminate some drag by tucking properly and making sure you're not wearing anything that flaps or sticks out. It doesn't need to be *out in the wind* to affect the aerodynamic profile. (ie; speed hump behind the helmet on high-end racing leathers)

 

I am 6' 230lbs. I have an 02 F4i and I have at the speedo at 158 and it was damn near at the redline. i was at about 13k. i am obviously a bigger rider so i would say it could hit 165...???
