Wow, I have the same bike. So sad to see it in such ruins, but I'm glad you'll recover from your accident. From the look of things, it could of been, much, much worse.

HOLY CRAP! thanks for all the support guys! I had on a 'Shift' leather jacket, Icon leather gloves, and an AGV helmet. Good point about the frame though....hopefuly everything will bolt up like its supposed to and its not tweaked. I think the only reason the bike managed to come out as good as it did is because it immediatly went off the road and into a lot of really soft dirt and grass. When I went back out to the site to see what i could salvage, the field was picture perfect like in the movies. I couldnt bend down to put shoes on so i was bare foot. Thanks again for the support guys!

+1 on the bent frame. i went down at a little under 70mph and my frame is just slightly bent. nothing i couldnt put 5000 miles on and nothing that i can feel reacts with the bike. the only noticable thing was the plastics no longer line up 100% gotta kinda stretch the left side to meet the front cowling and fairing.

Thank God for the guardian angel on your shoulder that you didn't get all FUBAR! I know you don't want or need a lecture, but please consider doing track days to "Get that speed fix" from now on. Too many variables that run against you on the street.

God bless and hope you heal quickly.
