Weird idle behavior
Hi forum,
My 2001 CBR 600 F4i has begun idling very high when cold - up to 4500 rpm. Usually it comes back down after a few minutes of riding, but occasionally it won't. When it does settle down it ends up at around 1800 or so - so also a bit high for my taste.
Spinning the idle adjustment screw seems to have no effect. There is a Power Commander III installed - could this be the issue if it is malfunctioning? Or should I be looking at the wax-unit?
Any ideas are greatly appreciated - thanks!
