I just want to get rid of the standard stock peg. Vortex states that MOST parts can be used with the stock. Does anyone have any experence with these?
WHY in the hell are these things sooo much money. 319.00 for the entire package!!!
Anyone have any suggestions on an easy cheap upgrade for the rear sets?

RE: vortex rear sets
Unless the bolts fall out completely, the rearset won't drop... and last I checked, if you've got bolts coming loose, you're gonna have problems, regardless of what rearsets you're using.
Seriously, with the mod I did, there's no greater chance of anything dropping. If you look at how it's put together, the only way it will move is if the bolts come off completely. If this happens on your stock rearsets you're screwed just the same.
Weigh the inner peg, mang...is good.

you should be puttingn so much weight on the inside peg anyway...you should be using the opposite leg to hang off of, like a monkey does from a tree.
woodcrafts aren't adjustable...i gots them...used...all beat to hell, but they were 'cheaper' than new.
