Default vortex frame sliders

i was reading on the vortex site, all the frame sliders require bodywork modification, is there any good ones that dont require body work?

There are "no-cut" ones. It's kind of a misnomer since they don't even mount on the frame or engine. They're mounted on the fairing on a fairing bolt.

You can buy them at www.oesaccessories.com. They don't provide nearly the same protection as a traditional frame slider.

No. none of the "No-Cut" frame sliders will give you any protedtion, unless you plan on -----only------ dropping your bike while its not moving, otherwise good by fairings and wasted money on frame sliders. Use the search there are a bunch of good write ups on how to install REAL frame sliders, without being discouraged. Unless you just want the sliders for show, than thats just plan silly.

I feel your pain.

Cutting through the fairings is an experience that's difficult to articulate!

I know the feeling...I am about to cut mine to mount sliders. I can't think about it. I don't want to talk about it.
