Also a lot of times companys will make a map to run it lean hence making more power. If your ran it rich it would make less and may even bog.

Yes, I'd recommend to remove O2 sensor and get so-called "clean airbox mod". Do you have "california" edition? These environmental fighters forced the engineers to run the same exhaust twice through the system. In the end you are prolly getting more environment friendly two-wheeler, but imo it's not worth it.

The price for tunning at one Ducati tech center is about $330. Pricey, but I really wanna do it.

I'd be glad to describe the process to you, but everything was done for me at one local shop. Right before my bike got in a small incident, and I was able to get some money out of it. So the guys at the shop offered me removal of O2 sensor and the mod. I knew that it won't do any harm and went with it. Pretty happy I did.

Look around this great forum, I'm sure you will find a thread where people are still arguing what the best method of removing O2 sensor is. If not, you can always start one
