it's hard to see from the pic id both suports not fitting or is it you can get one and not the other?
how did the cowl get cracked? did it just crack on you by it's self?
If that is the case then I would say yes it is bent and someone force it the cowl on last time and that is Y it cracked so your stay is bent and needs replaced or bent back.
have you tried to loosen the stay and realign it?

get a torch and some welding gloves or something similar and heat it up a little and then try bending it maybe

I had a similar issue after taking off all my fairings for re-paint. After messing around with it for a while I noticed that there were some wire harnesses in the way. If you just go slow and look around in there with a flash light you might notice some of the wires and connectors causing the front clip to not sit on there the right way. It may take some finess and time but could be benifical.

They just need some fanaggling. Some pulling, some pushing, ect. Fronts are the trickiest to put on, for sure!

check your ram air ducts. if they aren't lined up properly, the fairing wont fit right. i notice this every time i take my front fairing off. please try this before you use a hammer or a torch....

I'm 100% sure it's not the wire.
The reason I'm sure that it's bent is because in its current shape, the windscreen actually blocks the handle bar just a bit. And the left and right "horn" that secures the fairing are not bend at the same angle.

I have tried to bend it back w/ all my might, but it's just too strong. I haven't tried torching it yet, b/c i don't have one.
Ebay has aftermarket one for ~60 shipped, but I am not ready to give up yet.

Anyone else can shed some light on my situation?

thanks

You probably just need a new one then. Plus, it would fit your fairings properly then with no stress.

Any time you put heat into a part, dimensions and shape can change, this goes for metals and definitely plastics. Those holes are covered by your mirror....open your holes up a bit
