hello i just want to double check w/ everyone here. Does a 2001-2004 upper fairing fit a 2005-2006? since i know their tail is different, wondering if there are any reason why the front upper would not fit?

Yes, all the front ends are the same for all years

 

hmmm ya know i ordered a undertail from kneedraggers.com but before i did the guy said that the 2004 is the exact part as the 2005... so yea i placed to order but he called me on the phone and said it was back ordered.

So I guess i should cancel this order huh? since the 2004 DOES NOT fit the 2005?

 

actually i think i made a mistake, 04 and 05 should both have banaseats XD for somereason when i post this thread i thought 04 had the split seats

ya 04 and 05 are the same 01 -03 are split tail and the uppers are the same for all 01 -06

01-03 rear = same
04-06 rear = same

 

you're talking about the front fairing right? the one that the headlight sits in. if not, i'm even more confused. i know the newer bikes have more aggressive styled headlights so they wouldn't be the same. then i thought about it, and those were the rr's i think. or something bigger. my bust. i guess i haven't really been paying attention to the front ends. i just couldn't get past the hideous banana seat.
