I have shopped a little on eBay. The smoked LED integrated tail is around $65. I think I am just gonna stick with the stock tail and put some nice LED signals on the rear. Sometimes I think the integrated signals are difficult for other driver to see during peak daylight. I am just gonna Probably hack off my fender for now...then get the undertail down the road. Although there is a few nice undertails on eBay that are already painted silver to match my bike. We will see.

Added visibility is overrated imho. I'd rather have something that looks good and makes the bike whole. I can always stick my arm out or up to let people know my intentions.

Until an old lady is snoozing at the wheel---i'd rather have the hotbodies undertail with the stock light to make me more visible and it's also sleeked out instead of a hotbodies full out undertail with just a few LED's that can hardly be seen during the day.

Because a slightly brighter tail light is going to save you from someone passed out behind the wheel? WHAT?! That doesn't even make sense.

You obviously didn't read the entire reply...i never said PASSED out at the wheel, nothing will save u if so but if someone isnt paying attention-having a brighter light other than a few dinky led's will work wonders-read it again.

"Snoozing" aka a sleep aka eyes closed aka passed out. The whole idea around not paying attention is just that... not paying attention. Which means they are not looking at you. So what difference is the brightness of your tail light going to matter. Nothing is going to protect you from other drivers when you are riding a motorcycle. That is the whole danger of riding a motorcycle. Your life is at other peoples mercy. The only thing you can do is not ride erratically.

Very good TEKO, not riding erratically is step one...being more visible while stopping and in general will increase your chances and if you can't pick up on that i'm not sure what to tell you. Hotbodies undertail with the dinky LED's looks nice and sleek but functionality is brutal.

Whatever helps the sheep hop the fence and gets you a good nights rest. I guess.
