I have a 06 f4i and i'm converting to the split seat i got the tail cowling,seats,subframe and i was going to buy a after market undertail with the taillight in it. But what i wanted to know do i need the factory undertail as well as the new one? On my 06 when i replaced the undertail it had the battery box and the compartment in it but the ones for the 02 don't looklike they have it. Any help is appreciated.

 

For you guys with theearlier modelf4i's when you change your undertails do you have to keep part of the factory undertail?

 

yeah i know for the pimpbike undertail you only cut off part by the taillight to the trunk area- the rest you need to keep
