Default Two Brothers Install Fail? Help

Just got this two brothers C-5 slip-on off of ebay. Installed everything with the spacers and Im pretty disappointed. Not only does the the exhaust feel like its a foot from the bike and the foot peg is totally blocked. HELP!

Wow those photos made me LOL.

It looks like a high mount exhaust as some do cover or even replace the back peg. You might be able to make a different bracket, or modify it and bend the pipe down a bit with a pipe bender if you plan on using the back pegs.

I think that black adapter should be mounted behind the peg... not a foot on the outside of the bike and if that is the way the instructions say to do it.. burn them
more like this

Isn't the exhaust hanger bracket supposed to be on the inside of the spacers, and then footpeg goes on the outside of the spacers? That's how I've seen other high mounts around here. I don't have one myself so I don't know for sure.

thats how I was thinking a high mount should go, behind the peg, But I have heard of people removing the back peg to get the exhaust to fit. I am not sure if they just wanted to remove the pegs or if they thought they needed to but that pic I believe is how his exhaust should be.

...And looks like that wouldn't clear your turn signals if it where closer .... so you might as well get an undertail or fender eliminator

Ummm...total fail...umm.you have a bad pipe and it's totally wrong for your bike. Right now it's worth about $10 in that state...I'll give you 20 for it though since I'm a good person.
