^ hahaha .. but yea i was going to mention bov but it is possible to run a turbo charged system without a bov. dangerous @ higher psi but @ a low 3psi the risk of damaging from pressure surge isnt high. now if he was running around 5-8psi then yes fab up a bov

lol again possible to run a turbo system without an intercooler . i wont sit here and try and explain how/why an intercooler functions (because im sure most o fyou already know) . but if he wanted to make use of the turbo system then yes he should look into a intercooler, even that off a turbo volvo or a dsm would work. they are companct enough to fit nicely on a bike.

As you can tell I'm joking around- I have ALOT of experience modding cars/swapping engines and years ago among other things I converted two of my non-turbo Nissan 240sx's to use Japanese turbo engines/trannies that were never offered in the U.S. One setup was out of a Nissan Skyline, an RB25DET.

Slapping on a small turbo on a bike would be easy as pie- but I don't see the point- and am not out there to impress others.

my comments werent aimed towards you in a deraugitory (sp?) manner rather that i was explaining to the Op when he read incase he thought the same question (why i didnt mention a BOV or intercooler)

Well thankyou for everyone who looked up this info for me. I do seriously appreciate it.

areacode. I am blown away by your negativity towards me, and in such vain. I admit when I am excited I go into 'type frenzy' and completely destroy whatever it is I'm trying to say, but the things you said to me are insane. The fact that you took the actual time to analyze my posts to conclude in such a false and far off perception on my life is.. amazing.
Out of all these conclusions did you find that I've never, ever, posted or have had a membership to a forums before. This is all new to me. I have knowledged, no guru, but I do know about my bike, and turbos, but my main reasons for requesting such information on the topic were to just gain anyone's 'first hand' experience on the matter. This is a public forum, isnt it?
I am deeply sorry for agitating anyone with my hasty typing, but there was absolutely no reason for the things you have said areacode. I feel sorry for you.

This is me 'not in a hurry' and actually checking my typing.

Again I thank the people who have taken their time and given me some info on my request.

Next time I'll properly use the forums before I ask simple matters.

HAVOC, that link is awesome. I am going to attempt to contact that guy and see what he can tell me.

Thanks again.

no problem . this is what cbrforums is all about. helping your fellow rider. i hope you reach your goal of the turbo system. there is a big market for people who want to turbo their 600. good luck and if you require further help dont be afraid to ask , just make sure you go about it the right way. hopefully one day you will be able to give back from what you've learned
