Yea. I got my brothers mother in law who works at a dealer ship to come look at the bike and write up a appraisal along with the needed cosmetic parts plus head steering bearings. The appraisal came out to be 1600.00$ as she is without repairs and additional cost of of 800$ for parts. Now the repair costs is from a honda sealership repair shop so the price is going be high. I have everything needed to repair now. New lower fairings from Delkevic. New head steering bearings ALL ***** bearings were 30$ , and other small stuff. I am planning on taking the appraisal and repair quote to the DMV and hopefully they see the 1600.00$ appraisal value and take that as the reason for low selling value and I'll pay on that instead of paying for a 3400.00$ cost tax for a new bike. Which I find stupid that were forced to pay brand new full retail price for a used old bike that will not cost that pric unless that much is put into it to repair back to former factory glory.
