I have a Rumble undertail and I went to take the seat off today and I turn the key and there is no friction! =( Something broke or got disconnected. Is there any other way to get the seat off and fix this anyone know?

I don't know how your undertail attaches....but if you can get to the rivets or screws, remove thouse and you might be able to get to the lock, thatd be the only other way I know.....

 

Same happened to me because the lock cable became separated from the lock. Just removed the undertail to get to it.

 

you can remove the undertail or pop off the tail cone. either works well. If you start poping off the tail cone sometimes the undertail will just fall off anyways.

Same thing happened to me....so I took the whole thing apart and now I need to replace the whole locking assembly..... now I have the sea zip tied down (ghetto, I know) so it wont fly off when Im up on one! There is a website that has the diagram of every single part on every bike and lists the prices separately....its bookmarked on my other laptop at my GFs house, so I will repost after I get over there tommorrow.

 

just pull off your undertail and fix it happens to me once or twice a year

 

i need a whole lock assembly, mine is zip tied down too. geez,
