Default transfering maps from power commander

i just bought a power commander for my 2006 f4i. i have a yosh rs-3 and stock air filter. My question is my friend also has a f4i 2002 with a powercommander and same set up but full system. his bike was dynoed and has a custom map. is there any way to get the map off his power commander and put it on mine??????????????????????????

I dont know if you should, since a full system is different from a slip-on and every bike is unique, but you can.
Use the PC3 software and export the map to a file. Then plug in your PC and import the saved file and download it to the PC3. Easy if both are USB

You'de think if he paid the big bucks for a dyno'ed custom map they'de at least give him a disk with it for backup! Go figure.

Bike wil not run the same..What is custom for one bike will not be 100% on another.

I wouldn't even do it. I have a full erion system on my bike and I had it dynoed and then we put it on my friends bike that had just a slip on erion. and his bike ran like ****! rich at times then lean. and it lost hp! and gas mileage.I would just say take your in and get it done yourself it's not worth the problems. but your more then welcome to try. good luck and let me know.

Then custom maps should really be called "one off" or "one of a kind" maps.

I just installed an RS-3 slip on, K&N air filter, and PCIII on my '05. The standard PC map for thissetupworks really welland I decided to hold off on a custom map.

How much does the custom map usually run im thinking about putting a PCIII on my 04
