Default Top speed?

Ok just figure i wouldpostthis.I had my06 f4i up to 164 tucked down has far as i could, I know the speedo is off , then i did a sproket change 1 down 2 up, had it saying 174 on the speedo.check with my gps and thier was a 10 mph differance when i was travling90, so i was doing 80 with the gps.I nowhave a speedo healer installed. I am back to stock gearing since i will be going from Delaware to Myrtle Beach nextweek. The best i have done so far with stock gearing and speedo healerwas 149 but could not tuck in behind the wind screen becouse of my tank bag, its preety big lol. I was looking at the tach and was just about at 14000 rpm but i am not sure if i was in 6th gear, i was running out of room, but i think i was. And yes i had all my gear on.But if i get the chance tonight i will check it out with gps and no tank bag and make sure i am 6th. OK well befor i got the chance to post this i made a run befor it got dark, here are my findings. I did4 runs and on the last run i was looking at the tac and tring to tuck and wacth the road lol, in 6th gear at 13000rpm i was running out of room so i backed off. I went to check my gps and it was not in my pocket lol. Had to turn around. Found it on the road, thank god. Top speed on the gps was 146 but not sure at what point it fell out. My recall on the Speedo Healer was 155, this was at 13000rpm. Speedo healer was set up has follows. Factory speedo error plus5.5 % tire wear 2 sprokets 16 46. You can go futher into detail but not realy going to do all that. Powercommander, Muzzy, Scotts Stabalizer K@N Fillter is what the bike is running 10845 MILES ON BIKE

Just read the thread I posted.

You have 9 posts, and 4 of them are about top speeds. Traveling on public roads in the triple digits. Just trying to point out it's not a smart thing to do.

Post up a time slip for doing a 10 second quarter mile, or some fast lap times from a track around you! I think you would impress more people that way.

Some people think it's cool to go that fast on the roads. I think If a person keeps pushing it, it's just a matter of time beforethere luck runs out.

Thats why I posted a link to another thread. Great member who left a family and alot of friends behind. His last post was about a half hour before his death.

I figured i would cacth some stuff for posting this but i did any ways. Yes it was on pulic road , no house no drive ways for miles open field both sides. People wacthing at each end just in case i car happen to come.I live in the boneys. I sure would not do it in traffic or where i could in danger other people. So give me a little break. At least i was look out for the saftey of other people. Oh by the way KLR 650 103 mph if anyone is wondering and a 1989 zx750r 155mph
