tip over sensor

Default tip over sensor

How does it work i wana takr my bike to the strip by my house one of the requirements is it needs a teather hooked up or a tip over sensor i know the f4is have one but i have to show them it works how do i do that? Thanks

Bike needs to be tipped 60% for sensor to cut out, and kill bike. Its in the left front by the headlight. Another thing you could do is unplug the (BAS) tip over sensor, if you can get to the plug, ( just by BAS)) and un-plug it, then the bike will not start. Oh yeah, then plug it back in, its a piece of cake, good luck.

You could remove the front fairing hold the fairing up right, start the bike and then tip the whole fairing assembly till the bike shuts off. Or start the bike and have someone help you lean the bike on its side till it cuts out. Thats the only thing I can think of to demonstrate that it works.

Or after reading squidheads suggestion you might be able to remove the windscreen which should make getting to the sensor easier without having to remove the whole fairing. The Windscreen is pretty easy to get off with just a few screws.

If you don't want to take anything apart, you should be able to just lean it over with a couple people.
