I decided the best thing to do was to stop tracking the '05.

So I bought an '01!

Removed the fairings so I could get a good look at things.

Full Hindle exhaust with high mount can, PC3 with quick shifter, clipons and rearsets, Ohlins rear shock, damper (not sure of brand), 1/4 turn throttle, aluminum upper fairing stay, StompGrips, box of front and rear sprockets and spare parts, NRC case cover, and probably more. It needs some cleaning up here and there but it will make a great track day bike!

Great choice, and nice looking/equipt bike.

Couple things i noticed, the rear sets look stock, just different pegs. NO ?

Does it have the tip over sensor ?

Id also recommend talking the turn signal switch assy. off the left bar. (id did this to mine and just zip tied it down inside the front fairing) - just in case, ya know. $50 less in damages.

na they are woodcraft rearsets... notice how the peg is mounted to the rearsets vs stock having swivel...

as for future mods... looks like most of it was taken care of..... perhaps look into stator and engine cover sliders, possibly fork sliders, um maybe some shorty levers, and if your looking to save some weight ide take that subframe and gut it.. since you wont have a passenger there's no need for all the extra support...

ide also check and see if it has the clean air box mod...

and idk if anyone else has ever thought about this but has anyone ever thought of adding a dead mans switch like jet skis have? so if the rider falls off it automatically kills the motor? lol just a weird out there thought

crap and i forgot after looking at that pic again... you could possibly benefit braking wise with some braided lines, as well as a radial front master cylinder... but those wouldnt be at the top of my list lol <---- but what do i know lol Im not a track guy
