I just couldn't believe that I would get a drop of 50 miles for just riding a bit more aggresively. And yes I have done that. The conditions for this were on the highway, 6th, 90 mph. It got me 27 miles from the start of the reserve to the engine bogging.

I am really happy I am not the only one getting such crappy mileage on the f4i. My last bike was a ninja 250, I could easily swing 250-300 miles on that thing, my vfr750 before that easily ran150-200, my f4i doesnt like much more than 120. It really worried me when I first got the bike but I have learned to just live with it.

Make you feel better to know that at times I get less than 100 mpg on Yolie?

Course those times usually involves 3/4 WOT and redline a bit

My full tank to reserve (which around 13 liter) brings me to 140km (87 miles). But I ride like old lady keeping my rpm lower than 6k at times

I Ran out completely, I just bought the bike and was told it had a full tank so on the 40 miles ride home I wasn't aware of my gas(Last one I had, had a fuel gauge so I thought seeing the 4 bars ment full tank not reserve..)anyways ran out of gas 5 miles from a gas station, my cell phone died and I was P***** off. luckily a road warrior(Someone Florida pays to help people that ran out of gas) saw me and helped me. Needless to say My dealership got quite the call from me O_O

Oh, man, too funny. Hey, i'm laughing with you, not at you. You have to see the humor in this right. Anyway, I'm curious how much fuel you were able to put in ?

Congratulations on the new bike and welcome to the forum.

Riding at laps SRC one year I pushed too far. Riding back to town [40miles] my reserve came on before I had left the canyon [src= salt river canyon]. All 4 bars were blinking within 20miles. I made it all the way to town and didn't even put 4.5gallons in. I think I had only gone about 100 miles before it had started blinking that time which is the worst I've done [never paid any attention to mileage at the track]

Honestly I don't know what is a proper mileage for my 2001?

I bought this recently and it's not in her best condition. So I did a lot of fixing and so far came up with this mileage. Its probably running very rich
