Uriel, afaik you can do it without swapping reflectors. you should be able to stick two h4 lamps easily and make bi-xenon such way. the high reflector could be pointed and you would get something like you described. i think i even saw a diy for this conversion.

But I'm not looking for one xenon low beam and one xenon high beam, I'm looking for two low beams plus two high beams, which with xenon could only be done (as far as I can know) the way I described in my previous post (getting matching high or low beam reflectors (I'm guessing high beam since the HID bulb will point itself down) and a servo to control beam height, same light source). If that doesn't work, plan B is getting dual-beam halogen bulbsand matching low beam reflectors (like on a car, the halogen bulb has two filaments: the one in front has it's light reflected into the ground, the one at the back of the reflector isn't covered by it so light goes straigth forward).

Either way as soon as I get my F4i I'll just have to find a way to get dual headlights, I hate the typical one-headlight-on-one-headlight-off layout they give bikes these days.

You guys are talking about adjusting the high-beam to go lower. How exactly do you point the beams higher or lower? I don't see any ***** for adjusting it.

Don't know if it can be done, that's why I thought of salvaging another F4i's low beam reflector to replace my high beam reflector (and then giving them both the same bulbs).

That's why I wanted to know if the low beam reflector would fit in the high beam reflector's place. It's all theory right now, I'm just planning ahead to try to do it as soon as I get the bike.

If it doesn't fit, I may just hand-make myself a reflector, or get some other bike's or some car's reflectors that do.

I MUST have dual headlights!

Actually both bulbs are the SAME either way (low/high) the only difference is the reflector.

As far as adjusting the small holes in the ram air covers is to access the adjusting screw for the headlights.

So you can adjust them to look exactly the same without having to change anything, just turning a screw?

That is so totally tit[sm=happybounce.gif]

HIDs look awesome. any idea what the stock bulb lumen output is? i want just a little bluer than the 6ks but i don't want to reduce the amount of light.

do you need me to repeat second time or is my english SO bad? you can install H4 bi-xenon in both of headlights and have both low and both high . that will double the power drain and will require at least to point the highbeam headlight lower to the ground. they won't be identical , but they will light up the road a bit better.

No your english isn't bad, mine's just rusty[sm=bustedsign.gif]

So now I just don't get one thing: are the two reflectors actually built different? (so if you point the high beam down they still don't light the same?) And if so, can a low beam reflector fit in the high beam reflector's place?

I'm not too worried with the power. Two xenon beams take as much power as one matching halogen beam, so even if I'd carry around two xenon low beams plus two xenon high beams it still wouldn't be leeching more power than both stock headlights on. So long as I don't turn them all on at once with the engine off, then the battery might blow up, or at least I'll have to push the bike to start it afterwards [sm=smiley36.gif]

Correct the reflectors are built different. So pointing them down will help but they still put off different light.

Not sure why you need twin lows and highs.Because a standard hid in the low is more than enough light (my one hid low puts out more light than my buddies goldwing with add foglights). My hid high beam can light up street signs over 1/4 mile away.
