Default Thinking about getting an f4i.

Hey, I am thinking of getting my first streetbike and am very interested in the f4i. I was just wondering how they compare to other bikes? Has anyone had any problems with theirs? and are you happy you went with the f4i instead of another bike?

i seriously think there's a nooby post like this every week. lol

don't worry, i won't flame on ya.

yes... f4i's are perfect for beginners... and are good for experts also. riding position on it is comfortable. I've heard Honda's can last a lot longer than others. My friend's F4i has 40k miles and still goin strong. most other bikes would die and take their riders with them.

personally... i love the look of the f4i. they have the nicest shaped headlights to me. If you do get an f4i, most ppl say the problem is the one light low beam. The left side will be ur low beam, and right side is high beam, therefore forcing u to have one side on only at night. You can easily fix this if you don't mind losing your high beam, but aiming your high beam down towards the ground (takes about 5 minutes or less). That way the high beam won't blind anyone.

hey, i just bought a 01 f4i with 12k miles on it. The bike is sweet. i cant really tell you how it is compared to the other bikes since the only other thing i've ridden is a marauder at the msf class but it is super easy to ride. The power comes on smooth, there is no real noticable jump in the power, and the position is comfy. I've sat on some of the supersports that my friends have and they are wayyy hunched over, i dont think i can stay in that position for long. where as the f4i i rode for 2-3hrs with no problems.

how that helps!

the f4i is a very versatile bike... i know people who stunt them, race them and carve canyons with them... super dependable all around great bike...
