RE: Thanks for having me and goodbye
Nothing personal but if my girlfriend/fiance said no to a bike, I'd say c-ya. Obviously she could have some say in the type/style/cost of a bike but not "no" alltogether. No if's and's or but's about it, I'm getting one... Guess it depends on how bad you want it.
Go with an older one if the '06 is too much.

if the loan is under 5k you dont have to carry collision. i 've did it twice and the bank was fine with it

each bank is different...I think its not smart for the bank to do that, unless you put something else up as collateral for the loan??

If you REALLY want a bike, and she really loves you, then you will find a way to get one. Seriously, if you want something bad enough, you have to go for it! A used bike is a great option, and you could tell her it is a compromise between what you want and what she wants (cheaper insurance, less initial cash output, totally stoked fiancee who will wash all the dishes in the house for a year). Try to include her in the lifestyle. Get her on the back, and like I did with my wife, get her thinking about her own motorcycle some day. You could look for gear for her because all women love to buy clothes...just get her involved and it may be much easier to budge those purse strings. Good luck!

..and let's just say the g/f wasn't happy with the results...[:@] Ends up with insurance and riding gear I would end up nearly paying double what I would spend on just the bike. So that's the end of that idea of mine. [&o]
I'm a very responsible driver and would be a responsible rider...but the insurance has no way of knowing that thanks to the idiots who ride like imbeciles. Thanks a lot selfish tossers!!!
Six months of grovelling to the g/f for nothing.... [:@]

I have no idea why you even decided to blame others for your personal dilemma but it shows that you did not do any proper research. It seems like you did not do enough to find out if the bike is feasible for you to buy. Two, why complain right away? Just go do another insurance broker, a different dealer, a different so on….....
I am glad that your girl talked you out of getting the bike because you sound way too temperamental and people like your should not be on bikes. You will hurt yourself and possibly others.
Chill out and do a “take twoâ€
