Tech help please!
I couldnt be the chain because I just changed out my front sprocket from -2 to -1 and had the chain fully adjusted. But now that I think of it, I do not know if it has happened since the service...we will have to see..thankyou.
yeah a clunking sound is typical of a chain slapping when it comes from the rear under hard braking....if it's not that, let me know and we can trouble shoot elsewhere....a good way to check it is to go somewhere safe away from vehicles, get up to 30 mph and brake hard (make sure you can do it safely) and listen for the clunk...if it's under braking the chain is slapping...adjust chain and try again...if it goes away you are fixed, if not, there might be a bigger problem
So I am going across the new okanagan lake bridge (bridge that connects kelowna and westbank up in canada eh) and it is pretty bumpy cement. I hear the clunking coming from the rear end agian. this is under throttle at around 6k..?
