Never had one problem with my 01 929 rr...till yesterday...i started it up after work (getting rdy to leave) and the idle was lower then usual and it seem to be struggling and wanting to go the usual rpm's but just wasnt..then on top of that...when its trying to idle correctly, my power, lights and gauges go dim and weak, the whole thing just fluxuates. Is there anyone out there that knows what this is be4 i take it in to the shop?! Thanks!!!

Sounds like something in your charging system.

 

Get your regulator checked ASAP, sound like your just running on battery power, other symptoms may be the occassional back fire, die then rev as you try to accelerate.

 

+1 same thing happened in my car when i threw the alternator belt...
