Default Tank Painted?

Hey everyone, I plan on buying some HK Fairings from the auctmarts1 guy sooner or later but wound need to get my tank painted to match, so my question is who here has had their tank painted? How much did it cost you? Someone also sugested to me get a tank off ebay but I dont know if I would trust an ebay gastank. If you have had your tank painted post it up here with some info, I wouldent expect it to be to much just to get a tank painted one solid color.

I bought a tank with a dent in it for $20 on ebay, bondo'd the dent and got it to look original then just used heavy duty spray paint. Tank bondo and paint all costed around $55. Good if your on a budget.

Ya my tank seems to be in good condition, so i think im just gonna strip all the paint and stickers off it and find a painter with a reasonable price. Just dont want to get screwed on a price tho.

honestly, if you put a little elbow grease into it, it wont cost you as much, just sand down the tank first, then take it to a shop and as long as its a simple color that they would have on the shelf, it shouldnt cost much.

a good shop wont try to rip you off, go talk to them and if they seem fair go for it, if not tell them no. lol i got my whole bike painted, but i dont even wanna say how much it cost. its alot more than getting all new plastics, but one pint of the candy coat was like 600 bucks
