Just take it to Maaco or somewhere like that, they'll do it for pretty cheap

Love the little icon on the tank.

How did you get that dent? The reason I ask is that I got one just like it and never discovered how it got there. It was exactly in the same place. Makes me wonder...

I had the dent repaired and the tank painted. The repair was done by welding a bolt for a slap hammer, then bondo. But it burned through, gas leaked and crumped the bondo. Took it back to the shop he redid it for free. Failed again.

Now I have a used tank I'm going to have him paint.

I found a guy that my stepdad knew, went over and talked to him and saw a few cars hes painted, I think I'll have him do it. I was bummed that I wouldent have the wing tips on the tank that continue off the sides, but then I found this http://www.replicals.com/product_inf...roducts_id=118 .

I wonder if the colors will match.

I paid $300 for my tank and undertail. The tank had a major dent that was repaired. Hardly noticable when it was yellow but its now black so I had to fix it. The paint job is incredible so I felt it was worth $300. Theres like 8 layers of clear on it and it reflects like nothing Ive seen b4. Wish the guy would do my whole bike lol.
