Default Tail light issues

When I use either my front brake, rear brake, or both together when my tail light comes on it flashes rapidly instead of lighting up solid. Anyone have any idea why it would do this?

Thanks in advance guys!

Do you have the stock tail light? My friend had this problem with an aftermarket one. It ended up being a loose wire.

Maybe you have one of those brake light modulators?

I was going to say the same thing... make sure it's a stock tail light. Some of the new "safety" tail lights flash. If it's a weird intermittent flash then it's something loose.

The tail light is aftermarket since it is an integrated tail light. Since the flash is very consistent I'm guessing it is one of those new "safety" tail lights. To be honest I don't really understand why it would be safer for the tail light to flash. IMO the universal sign for braking is a brighter solid light, not a flashing one (my friend behind me almost ran me down the other day), but what do i know I didn't even know what kind of tail light I had!
