Default Swapping Upper Fork Tubes

I've looked at the tutorial on the one of the other forums about how to revalve F4i forks. I've bent my forks. I got a replacement set and need to swap the upper tubes so that I will have my aftermarket internals.

I've never seen the inside of a fork. Never even changed fork oil before.

Can someone help outline the procedure for me? The local suspension shop wants $275-300.

It seems to me that all I'd need to do is:
Loosen the cap
Drain oil
Remove Cap
Remove Springs
Pry up dust seal
Remove retaining ring and tube should come out
Put parts back on good set
Fill with oil to proper level (I'm sure there's more than one way to do this)

Jaybird, if you know how to use wrenches and have common sense, this should be pretty easy. I had never opened up my forks before I rebuilt them, and I've got 8000 miles on them now with no problems. Follow the guide you have (service manual helps too), if its the one about using a home depot pipe for a fork seal driver, it really works. Make sure the forks get the same amount of oil, and if your gonna be in there, you might want to throw new bushings in as well as seals obviously.
